This Bee Propolis was sustainably harvested by my lovely neighbours who keep bees on the property. They use 100% natural practice, with no sprays or chemicals. Their bees are happy totally organic free ranging little guys.
Bee Propolis sometimes also known as bee pollen, bee glue or Russian penicillin is a powerful antibacterial substance made of a mixture of tree Sap & resins mixed with Bee saliva. Bees make Propolis to mend & defend their hives from the elements as well as intruders like bacteria & mould that could compromise their hives. This antibacterial & antifungal action is beneficial for us people too.
Bee Propolis has been long used for treating sore throats & mouth wounds like ulcers, cuts, abscesses & infections. Many people use Bee Propolis tincture to make homemade throat lozengers but the tincture itself will work well to soothe a sore throat when gargled in water.
Bee Propolis is also great for immune system support throughout the cold & flu seasons. Take just as you feel a niggle of sometime coming on. During a cold or flu for a speedy recovery & as an immune boost after a lurgy has struck.
Bee Propolis is used as a natural antihistamine & is best paired with stinging nettle for a natural hayfever remedy.
DOSAGE: 10 drops 2 times daily in a glass of luke warm water for immune support. Increase to 15-20 drops to fight a live cold or flu infection.
CONTRAINDICATIONS: there are no known adverse interactions with other drugs.
