15ml (1/2oz), 30ml (1oz) of stinging nettle (urtica dioica) herbal extract tincture. Ideal for those with anaemia or post birth when needing to boost iron & build blood. Nettle is a superfood, it is one of the most mineral rich nutritious plant foods with significant amount of calcium, iron, zinc, magnesium, potassium, phosphorus & sodium. It also contain high levels of vitamins A, C & K as well as many B vitamins too. It can be taken to boost iron levels, as an excellent alternative to prenatal vitamins (however I would reccomend this as a tea or vinegar tincture (acetate)), for the anaemic or those recovering from illness who need a good boost.
As well as it’s unsurpassable nutririve properties, stinging nettle has also proved to be a very effective antihistamine or natural hayfever remedy (especially when taken with Bee Propolis). Those little stinging hairs actully have quite the opposite effect therapeutically helping to reduce hayfever symptom such as itchy watery eyes, running nose, sneezing & iteration without the drowsy effects of pharmaceutical antihistamines.
DOSAGE: 1 to 2 droppers full 2 to 3 times a day in a small glass of room temperature water.
If taking stinging nettle for hayfever relief it pairs well with Bee Propolis. 🐝
CONTRAINDICATIONS: stinging nettle may interfere with some anticoagulant medications, diuretics & some thyroid drugs.
